I purchased this scarf, have worn it and am as manly as it gets. There is nothing feminine about the Saffron colour I chose... and the quality and workmanship is 'top-notch', like my other Mountain Hardwear gear. It's a perfect fit under a half-zip or over the shoulders of a coat or wrapped around the neck. The fact that it carries the MH name
