I LOVE this jacket. It is lightweight, but still super warm! I have the purple one and people comment on it every day. The fact that it is not bulky is a huge plus. I can through my pack on over it and I don't need to adjust the straps - it's the little pleasures! It also has a wonderful feminine cut so I don't feel like a linebacker in it. All of the utility pockets are great and the removable snow skirt is just icing on the cake. Function and fashion in one package!

Fantastic Ski Jacket

I bought this for my wife's birthday as her ski jacket was an older heavier non-gore/dryQ/event jacket. She absolutely loves this jacket. In terms of fit and material, it's much lighter, and has excellent range of motion for the arms (she kept telling me this over and over). The hood does fit over a helmet pretty well, which she liked. The powder skirt is effective (and removable), a nice touch. She loves the cuffs at the ends of the sleeves with the thumb holes as well. Honestly, she hasn't been able to find anything she didn't like.
We skied on a day that started off in the 20's and climbed into the upper 30's and she stayed dry (ie did not get swampy/sweaty). In colder conditions, she has enjoyed the small amount of insulation compared to a plain shell also.
Jury is out as far as durability and performance in rain since it's still so new. As a ski jacket it is great so far.
