I raced the Centurion Winter 100 2012 here in the UK on the weekend that we had 800+ flood alerts. I'm so glad I had the Quasar as part of my kit list not only did it keep me dry for 14 hours the Quasars performance out did the ability of my active shell jacket. Running through the night with the hood up and my head torch on I felt warm and cosy, the peak of the jacket did not stop the light from shining. When the temperature dropped I had enough room to layer up and keep my arms moving without restriction. High winds, low temperatures and monsoon rain the Quasar is uber lightweight and perfect for Ultra running. 29hrs later my kit looked as fresh as a daisy the same couldn't be said for me.
