This is a very nice down parka. It looks and fits great, but it does not keep me as warm as the earlier version of this style. I am disappointed in the change in this parka from the same style (Hunker Down) I bought last year in a larger size, which was a heavier duty material, with extra protection up the outer side of the sleeves, the hood was detachable, which was nice and because of the detachable design, there was a thicker collar which kept the back of the neck warmer. Also, the earlier version of this parka feels thicker to me, and definitely kept me warmer than this new one. I bought the 'same' parka in a smaller size this year (due to successful weight loss) because I loved how warm the earlier version kept me. I rated this parka 3 stars (Average) because it is not as warm as the previous version, which I would give 5 stars. I would still recommend it, but would advise that it is not as warm as you might expect.

Mountain Hardware... I wanna lay one on you. This coat has been a revelation. It is is so soft, so warm, and so well made, with sweet little details like fuzzy pockets, and fuzzy chin guard. I want to live in this thing! Parka length makes it way more flattering than most puffies, too. I love the look of this guy! As a chronically cold person, my life has been forever changed. I'd buy ten more if I had any use for them. Keep it up, MH!
