My wife loves this product. She wears it all the time. We are hiking the AT, so part of that is necessity, but she even sleeps in it. She loves the softness, the fit, and how compressible it is. This product has a snug fit and she enjoys having the thumbholes in the sleeves. This jacket is warmer than other lightweight fleeces, especially any 100weight fleeces, which is why she wanted it. Seems to be a well designed and well made product.
I would recommend this product.

This jacket is a great fit, very lightweight, and keeps you very warm. Great to layer with another jacket. I am a 4-6 and got a medium which is my preferred fit. I think the website recommends a small for my size but I am very happy with the medium.
I would recommend this product.

When we opened the package there was a big rip on the seam located on the back left hand side of the jacket. Then I had to pay for the return shipping because the product was ripped. That's pretty terrible. Also, when you held the jacket up the the light you could see through the "grid" material. Obviously the jacket was never tested outside, but I can't imagine it would be super warm... Especially with a rip in the back...
I do not recommend this product.

I wear a size small in most other Mountain Hardwear outerwear pieces, but the size small in this jacket was too small. This jacket should be worn tight, but I would have preferred the medium in order to get a layer or two underneath. The material was lighter weight than I expected, so i'll probably go with the Monkey Woman Jacket to get a higher loft fleece. Some of the stitching lines (especially around the zipper) were poorly done.
I do not recommend this product.

Bought this after my coworker recommended it, and I am impressed! The full-Monkey fur jackets are a bit too much for me, but this is really the nice middle-ground of stretch fabric and Monkey fur. Sizing was pretty standard compared to other Mountain Hardwear items - normally a small, which fit perfectly. I agree with the other review saying the thumb holes are a bit too short. Overall, this jacket is great when layered with my shell. Keeps me warm while giving me full range of motion (really nice for those PNW autumn climbing days).
I would recommend this product.

This jacket is lovely. I don't personally prefer the "monkey" jackets that are the "monkey" fur all over and make you look a little like cookie monster or a muppet. :) This is a nice mix of regular jacket and the monkey cozy style. For me, it ran quite small and very fitted. I almost always order a medium. I am 5'10, so my main concern is sleeve length which I can get best in a large, but generally largest are WAY too big. I won't send back my medium because I already took the tags off, but I might have tried to go up a size. Its fit in the body is perfect, but I can't wear ANY type of thick layering underneath since the sleeves are very tight and fitted, and the fabric of any substantial layer just bunched up in the armpit and isn't comfortable, or attractive. It has thumb holes, but the sleeves are a bit too short to comfortably use them...without cutting off my thumb circulation. All in all, a great eye catching acket. You could go up a size from your normal orders.
I would recommend this product.
