They seem a lot shorter than the picture, but are well made and seem durable. The snow has melted possibly for the year here in Kosovo so for now so, I can't give a snow depth test.
I would recommend this product.

Alpinismo Gaiter

The gaiter works well. I use them for walking through deep show and for snowshoeing (over my boots and jeans). The velcro holds tight and the snap adds security. A yellow band runs along the underside of your boots to keep the gaiter down. The band is elastic and does its job. At the end of the day, my pant cuffs are dry.

Help in the storm

The gaiters help me dig out from a 20" snow storm with 4'drifts. Kept me dry and toasty.
