Overall, this is a pretty good jacket...Light, Warm, and Compact. However, there is a significant dead spot on the shoulder of each sleeve (see area of MH logo on left sleeve pictured above). The down from the top of the sleeve eventually falls to the the baffle just above the elbow area. Also, if the interior chest pocket was a bit larger it could serve as its own stuff sack.
I would recommend this product.

This is a good mid-weight jacket especially for the money. I live in Jackson Hole and I have been wearing this jacket the past couple weeks where it has been consistantly -10 in the mornings and this is about the limit for this jacket. It is a perfect piece for temps around 0-10. My only complaint is the pockets, they are very shallow and there isn't much room to put anything in them and it is a tight fit for your hands.

Just what I wanted

Very warm for the light weight and lofts up well. I chose this over the 800 fill jacket because it seemed to have a more durable outer fabric and longer cut. It's still pretty thin and I worry a little about my color choice, the orange is already starting to show some dirt around the cuffs and bottom, but I wouldn't call that a design flaw.
