Comfort and function are important to me and the convertible balaclava is excellent. I can wear it with my bicycle helmet, and my view is not obstructed as it can be when wearing hoodies under a helmet. I love wearing it on its own as a scarf that can easily be pulled over my nose and mouth for warmth and a ninja aesthetic. Overall, its very warm, versatile, the fit is great.
I would recommend this product.
