I did a lot of research before I bought this pack, I went back and forth between this pack and several others. I chose this one because it had the perfect combination of everything I was looking for, Size, Weight, Color and Features. The mesh suspension helps get airflow on your back. The lightweight shoulder pads and hip belt are comfortable. It's comfortable to carry up to about 35lbs, heavier than that and it starts to become uncomfortable. Side access to the main compartment, pouches on the hipbelt, lots of small pockets, and Sleeping bag compartment are all great features. My MH Phantom 15 fits perfectly into the sleeping bag compartment, although it is a tad tight to get it in. A slightly longer zipper opening would fix this issue.
There are 3 negatives neither are major deal breakers just annoyances. The shoulder straps slip while I am walking causing the the pack to right too low. I have to keeping tightening it while I walk. The second complaint is the hydration pack compartment. it's inside of the main compartment making it difficult to refill the bladder while its in a full pack. You also can't put a full bladder in a full pack. A fix would be to have the hydration compartment between the main compartment and the back suspension. The other issue is there is no hydration tube exit out of the pack, you have to close the zipper up next to the tube, and the zipper can wear out the tube over time. The other complaint is the Pack Cover, it's worthless and just takes up space. It constantly slipped off my pack, and didn't fit well.
I would recommend this product.

My 16 year old son used this pack for a 4 day, 3 night trip through the Smokies and had plenty of room. The side zip is a great feature. Straps are comfortable. The rain cover takes up a little more room than I'd like, but we kept it in for this trip with no problem. Great pack, great size!
I would recommend this product.
