Bought this as my super light bag. 2lbs makes my bare essentials pack system witht food for 4 days under 28lbs. First night out in the High Sierras itmwas nice weather around 45 degrees. No tent , just ground pad and a t-shirt and i was actually sweaty. Had to unzip to cool off! I think the zipper could be a bit more rugged like my -20 mtn hardwear bag but it hasnt become a problem yet. Really happy so far.
I would recommend this product.

I bought this while working at an outdoor store. My manager said I should check out the Marmot Helium and the Hardwear Phantom. I decided on the phantom.
Since then I have brought it with me for 22 days of backpacking. I used it in early June in the White Mountains of NH on an overnight trip when the temps in the low 30s F. I was toasty in the bag in my midweight baselayers and slept great! I have since used it for biological field work in the Sierra Nevada range of California. Temps have been hovering in the low 30s some nights and I have been very happy! It packs down super small and adds minimal weight to my pack. I have had issues with condensation buildup on colder nights in the Sierras. Not sure if it's because of the lightweight fabric or what, but if I can dry it out during the day its not a big issue. Overall a great bag!

Really a great bag. Very warm, lightweight, compressible. I have taken it with me to climb Mt. Rainier and a recent camping trip during the snow and ice storms here in Oklahoma. Stayed warm with the temp dropping to 5* F with windchills below -10*F. I do sleep hot, so it may not be comfortable for those who are cold natured at those temps. I'm 6'2" 180lbs and I have plenty of room for myself plus clothing I wish to keep warm. It does repel water pretty well however I have never let the water stand on it. You can count on my next bag for Denali will be a MountainHardwear as well.
