I am an outdoor guide. I try to camp as much as possible, especially in winter. this bag has kept me warm (in fact too warm most of the time) in every condition. paired with a medium weight fleece sleeping bag on the inside, I have stayed cozy into the negatives. and it packs smaller than most 20 degree bags i have seen. the zipper however is absolutely terrible. It snags almost every time I use it. It snags so badly that it has ripped a hole in the fabric of the bag and more recently, ripped the zipper itself off the bag. the zipper is now completely unusable for much more than a very warm and soft blanket. it would be a great bag if it were not for the horrid zipper. this is not an issue on the Lamina 0 degree; the zipper on that thing was fine. i will be returning this bag and possibly purchasing the Lamina 0.
I do not recommend this product.

I haven't actually used this bag outside my living room, so I can't vouch for warmth, but upon initial inspection, here's what I found.
First, the bag is a snug fit length wise. I am 5'9, and the hood barely fits over my head. If you are 5'10 and over, I would recommend sizing up to the tall (rec. 6' and over). I like the amount of room inside though. Not too much so it keeps the heat in (it is a mummy bag), but not too restrictive either.
Some people on other sites have complained about the zippers snagging, but I haven't found this to be a problem at all as of yet.
The bag also packs down from well for a 20 degree bag. The included compression sack allows me to fit it inside my lower 70 liter backpack compartment, which I was happy about.
I would recommend this product.

durable loft

I've had mine for a couple of years and it has gotten some use. It has a good fit, and the loft has held very well. The fit is tight without being constricting.

I just got back from a two day camping trip, with very fall-like conditions, and slept quite comfortably in my lamina 20. It's lightweight, warm, and no-nonsense. I couldn't wait to hop back into it at the end of the day. It packs easily into the compression sack.

This was just what I was looking for- great all around car camping bag. I absolutely love the water repellency. Toasty warm at 25, haven't had a chance for anything more extreme yet

Was kept super warm in the cold nights of camping in New Hampshire. The hood part for your head is so key. Slept in shorts and tank top and my bf was in long johns. Stuffs into small sack easily, super comfortable, zippers really well. Overall, I'm super happy with this bag and my bf said he's getting one so he can leave the long johns at home.

I just took this bag with me to a cabin on Mt. Hood and was kept totally warm. I hate wearing socks to bed and with this bag, I didn't have to, even at 5,718 feet! LOVE this bag.

Great Bag

I have used this bag for typical camping solutions. While its not the lightest of bags being synthetic it still a great bag used for all around use if you don't mind compromising wait for ease of care and use. It will compress down to about the size of a football with the bag they provide. I am 6'0 and 220lbs and I have plenty of room to move around in it with out a lot of wasted material or room. I would definitely recommend this bag to other people who want a bomb proof bag that dont mind sacrificing a little bit of weight.
