Used it at about 12,000 ft the night before climbing Mt. Princeton. Dropped into the 30's. Ventilation was great, tent was great. Worth the money! If you need a bomber back country tent this one's for you. If you need something for car camping or warm conditions at lower elevations, save your money and look at one of MHW's other tents.
I would recommend this product.

Well folks, yeah it's expensive. But it surely is worth it. Little understood is that this tent is designed by Ed Viestures himself (EV). If that doesnt say something I don't know what will. I have used this tent and it is ready for the Himalayas. So if you're using it like I am and climbing at Rainier, and the Colorado 14'ers, then this will do everything you need and then some. The weight to strength ratio on this thing is amazing! Its only 7lbs! Lets get real, a TRUE 3 man, 4 season tent under 8lbs? Im in! if you're looking for something serious, that you never have to worry about, get it.
I would recommend this product.

Took this out for the first time in The Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP for a five day four night excursion. This tent was more than I needed for this years conditions but it's the best tent I've had from MH to date. Heavy rain didn't penetrate the no fly double laminate and although the tent would be better if it had mosquito netting, this tent is incredible. I'll have to take it back into the NW earlier next spring when there is more snow. Expeditions would be pleased with the roominess, the open zipper bottom, (which I assume is for cooking when you're at altitude during a storm,) the four zipper windows, and the room available in this product.
